LEGO House At Home – Masterpiece Gallery Interviews

With LEGO® House still shut, the team there have been providing ways to share a little bit of the Billund attraction from the comfort of our homes. They have already been sharing building tips but have embarked on a new regular series of content focused around the Masterpiece Gallery. This is where creations built by talented AFOLs from around the world, are put on display for all to see. Obviously they currently can’t be seen in person so Stuart Harris, senior experience designer at LEGO House, chats with the builders behind some of the sets currently on show. The first of which is with the lovely Caz aka BlockHeadUK, check it out below and be sure to subscribe to the LEGO House YouTube channel for further AFOL interviews. This isn’t the only way you can experience LEGO House at home, a number of LEGO House exclusive sets are currently available online in selected countries.

Meet Caroline also known as Caz Mockett. Caz is one of the chosen AFOLs to exhibit her MOC in our Masterpiece Gallery. When young she dreamed of becoming an architect and perhaps it actually came true. Caz builds LEGO buildings in microscale on a 16×16 plate giving her the ability to mix and match her cities. The city here in LEGO House includes a district inspired by the four seasons, one that is inspired by stirred coffee cream and of course also includes both a LEGO hub and a LEGO Store. As Caz says; every city needs a LEGO store

  1. This is a really cool idea. And to see both Caz and Stuart Harris chatting was pretty neat. I’ve known Caz for some time and have been a keen supporter of her marvellous work. It was such a wonderful piece of news when she announced that she was going to displaying her micropolis builds in the masterpiece gallery. I also met with the lovely Stuart Harris whilst at Lego House last September. He’s a charming man and was willing to chat despite having a busy schedule. Top bananas both!
