Over the last couple of months I’ve been taking a closer look at the entire first wave of new LEGO® Hidden Side sets. This original new story driven theme, follows the ghost-capturing of teen vloggers Jack and Parker. They use their special mobile phones, the pair head around Newbury to uncover a ghostly gang of hidden ghouls. The result is an impressive range of new sets, packed with fun builds, crazy characters and hidden AR functions. I’ve made no secret of my love of original LEGO themes, I’ve always admired themes like Galaxy Squad, Monster Fighters and Ultra Agents. It’s been a few years since we’ve had a original story driven ‘in/out’ theme so I’ve glad most of the sets have lived up to expectations. Next year is set to be even better, with a new wave of sets, a possible TV show, books and more issues of the new Hidden Side magazine.
