As with many of the original LEGO® story themes, they encompass many different aspects to help expand the stories at the centre of the sets. LEGO DREAMZzz is no different and following the animated series and recently released LEGO playsets, the adventures continue in this brand-new book from Buster Books, Ameet and LEGO Books. Thanks to the lovely folk at UK publisher Buster Books, here’s an early peek at the LEGO DREAMZzz: Dream Crafters book.

There are many types of LEGO Books available and this is one aimed at younger LEGO fans. The content within the books offers a variety of things to enjoy including comic strips, short stories, puzzles, colouring and other activities all themed around the characters and world of LEGO DREAMZzz. I’ve previously noted my love of illustrations used in these sorts of LEGO titles and they are especially delightful in this book. The magical world of LEGO DREAMZzz lends itself perfectly to the charming illustrations used in the book. I particularly like the minimal style used for a couple of the comic strips.
The book also includes physical LEGO elements in the form of a Mateo minifigure. This doesn’t offer anything unique like other LEGO Books, but it’s still a cool little character. It also includes Mateo’s magical pencil staff. The book currently offers the cheapest way to add this particular character to your collection.
LEGO DREAMZzz: Dream Crafters is published in the UK on August 17th and you can pre-order it now from Amazon and other book retailers. Many of the LEGO Books are based on titles created by Ameet, which are then published by various partners. In the UK many of the LEGO titles are published by Buster Books. So for those outside the UK, you may find this title available through other publishers. Thanks to Buster Books for providing this book for the purpose of this review.
