Chaos is oh so near, as LEGO® DC Super-Villains launches this week. Our American readers can play from today, with mainland Europe-type folk can enjoy it later this week and those of us in the UK can get our game on from Friday. The game lets you create your own super-villain as you play alongside some of DC Comics most dastardly bad guys. For once it’s good to be bad. My copy has arrived today and the BricksFanz review will be on its way very soon. Villains Reign Supreme in the First-Ever DC Super-Villain LEGO Game Available This Friday
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO® Group and DC today announced the launch of LEGO® DC Super-Villains, the first LEGO® game to put players at the centre of a villain-centric adventure taking place in the heart of the DC universe. Nominated as one of the Best Family Games of 2018 by E3’s Game Critics Awards, LEGO® DC Super-Villains fuels imagination, giving players the opportunity to create their own super-villain, complete with costume, appearance, abilities, and a name while playing alongside an iconic roster of DC Super-Villains. Both LEGO® and DC fans alike will leave their fingerprints on a hilarious and original story written in collaboration with DC. LEGO® DC Super-Villains will be available on 19th October in the UK for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®4 Pro computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, and PC.

In LEGO® DC Super-Villains, the Justice League has disappeared, leaving Earth’s protection to a newcomer group of heroes from a parallel universe, proclaiming themselves as the ‘Justice Syndicate’. Renowned DC Super-Villains from the ‘Legion Of Doom’ discover Earth’s newest heroes may not be the heroes they claim to be. With each player’s completely customisable Super-Villain character in command, this team of misfits must join forces to discover and foil the evil plans the incognito newcomers have in store. Players will create their own super-villain character and set out on a journey to determine their character’s purpose within the story. Along the way, players will unlock new powers and customisations for their character, travel off the beaten path for additional story quests, puzzles, and mini-games to unlock rewards and recruit other DC Super-Villains, and cause mischief throughout well-known DC locations including Gotham, Metropolis, Smallville, and more.
The Deluxe Edition will be available at £59.99 and features the main game content, Season Pass content, early access to the DC Super-Villains: TV Series DLC Character Pack, and an exclusive LEGO® minifigure, Lex Luthor™ Superman. Digital consumers will receive the Justice League Dark Character Pack, inspired by the comic book series Justice League Dark. For players who want to further their adventures beyond the main game, the LEGO® DC Super-Villains Season Pass will be available separately at £11.99 and provides players with exciting add-on game content inspired by a wide range of DC movies, live action and animated TV series, and comics. The Season Pass will feature six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including two Aquaman Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film, Aquaman, in theatres nationwide on 2nd December and two Shazam! Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film Shazam! in theaters nationwide April 2019.
