LEGO DC Super-Villains EGX Gameplay

With LEGO® DC Super-Villains a little under a month away, over weekend TT Games’ Arthur Parsons took to the stage at EGX to show off a little more of the game. During the live playthrough, which you can check out below, one of the games levels were shown off as well as the massive openworld hub. This is set across the dark and dank streets of Gotham, which sits in the shadow of the vast skyscraper-filled city of Metropolis. This part of the game is filled with nods to the wider DC universe and numerous side-quests. As you play as bad guys, you’ll have to what your step when pottering around the hub, as causing too much trouble with alert the police, who will give chase on sight.

During the livestream the character grid was shown, and is filled masses of DC characters, many of whom are making their first appearance in LEGO form. Not sure who they are, then each character has file, filled with information. Another fun addition, is the character each have their own unique special moves, for example, Captain Cold, can roll foe up into a snowball, before transforming them into a snowman. If none of those characters float your boat, simply create your own. Which is the central to the games story, making your own minifigure is now more than just a fun extra. After creating the ultimate super-villain, they become a main player in the storyline. Check all that out and more in the EGX replay video below. LEGO DC Super-Villains arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch from October 19th.
