The LEGO® BrickHeadz theme makes the leap to music with an upcoming set based on the British female pop group, the Spice Girls. As revealed by the LEGO instructions page via The Brick Fan, the set will feature all five members of the Spice Girls in BrickHeadz form including Ginger Spice aka Geri, Sporty Spice aka Mel C, Baby Spice aka Emma, Scary Spice aka Mel B and Posh Spice aka Victoria. The band were a cultural phenomenon back in the 90s and in recent years reformed to perform at the 2012 London Olympics and a reunion tour of the UK.
The Spice Girls Tribute set will be the largest BrickHeadz set released so far and is expected to launch in March. It’s nice to see the connection between LEGO sets and music hasn’t been lost after the foray surrounding VIDIYO.
