LEGO BOOST App Now Available For Smartphones

When LEGO® BOOST was introduced back in Summer, it could only be controlled with a small selection of iOS and Android tablets. Over the last few months LEGO have been listening to feedback and have added support for Amazon and Windows 10 devices and now the LEGO BOOST app has been made available for smartphones. The smartphone version of the app works in the same work as the tablet version, although the screen size is much smaller. If you’ve been tempted by LEGO Boost Creative Toolbox but not had a device it, the smartphone app opens the set to an entire new audience. Follow the link below to see which devices are compatible or simply head to the app store for your operating system and it automatically let you know which connected devices can run the app. LEGO BOOST is available now from shop.LEGO.com, LEGO Brand Stores and selected toy retailers.

LEGO BOOST set (17101) Feature List

  • Includes 844 LEGO® pieces, plus a LEGO Move Hub, Interactive Motor and a Color & Distance Sensor.
  • Move Hub features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, 2 encoded motors, activation button, internal tilt sensor and a light.
  • Interactive Motor is an encoded motor.
  • Color & Distance Sensor detects distance, motion and color, and can also function as a light.
  • Create and code Vernie the Robot, Frankie the Cat, the M.T.R.4 (Multi-Tooled Rover 4), the Guitar 4000 and the AutoBuilder.
  • Rotate Vernie’s head to activate its shoulder-mounted spring-loaded shooter.
  • Build the M.T.R.4 (Multi-Tooled Rover 4) and try out the different tool and customization attachments for an array of exciting activities.
  • Learn songs and rock out with the Guitar4000!
