LEGO Blossom Tree Springs Up At LEGOLAND Japan

To mark the first anniversary of LEGOLAND® Japan Resort, the master builders from LEGO® have created a world record breaking LEGO big build. The sakura tree which is commonly known as the cherry blossom tree, is an icon of Japan and during their blossoming season, scores of people visitor areas of Japan to see them flower. Now visitors to the park can witness the marvel of the cherry blossom all year round thanks to a sakura tree built from LEGO. The resulting tree measures 4.38 metres tall, 5.42 metres long and 4.93 metres wide, with over 800,000 LEGO bricks used to build it and took 0ver 6000 hours to build before being transported to Japan. If that wasn’t amazing enough the LEGO Cherry Blossom tree also includes a number of LEGO lanterns, which light up at night.
