According to PR Week, LEGO has decided to appoint a new PR agency to manage its UK marketing activities in 2018 and beyond. Currently LEGO UK PR is handled by two agencies, Crescendo – who deal with many non-licensed LEGO themes like LEGO Friends and have been behind many of the big build public events like the Christmas displays. With Norton PR dealing mainly with licensed and story driven themes like Super Heroes and NINJAGO. From January 2018, Mischief will take on all LEGO PR activity, bringing UK LEGO marketing under a single agency. Mischief creative director Damon Statt told PR Week: “LEGO Group has consolidated its PR briefs in the UK into one agency. We look forward to working with one of the most iconic and loved brands in the world.” As a Recognised LEGO Fan Media outlet, we’ve had plenty of interactions with both Crescendo and Norton, both of whom have been quite helpful over the past few years. Hopefully Mischief will continue to provide the UK with unique LEGO experiences and PR stunts.
