To celebrate the Birmingham Repertory Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham have created a model of the Emerald City from the iconic story. The Centre’s Master Model Builder, Michelle Thompson, built the city which took three and a half days to construct and measure almost one meter squared. The famous yellow brick road and Emerald City have both been loving recreated with over 7000 LEGO elements. The model is currently on display at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre until January 13th.
