Introducing An All-new LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV

With the Skywalkers set to rise this Christmas, the next LEGO® set to be gracing stores across the galaxy, goes back to where it all began. Way back in 1977 audiences were wowed as a usual looking spacecraft loomed into view on cinemas screens across the world. That ship would later to be known as the Tantive IV, a consular ship, on a diplomatic mission from Alderaan. On board this Corvette-class Rebel Blockade Runner, was the brave Senator of Alderaan, Leia Organa. That moment is the inspiration for the latest LEGO Star Wars set. As LEGO Star Wars celebrates 20 years of rebuilding the galaxy, this new set has been revealed, tonight during Star Wars Celebration. It’s been 10 years since the Tantive IV was last seen in LEGO form and this May, you can build an all new version. The 1768 piece set will be available from May 3rd, just ahead of Star Wars Day, exclusively from LEGO Brand Stores and shop.LEGO.com. Check out the set below.
