As we welcomed in a new year, those in the UK and Europe have also been greeted by various price changes for some LEGO products. Although a very small amount of sets have decreased in price, many have seen a jump in price, some as much as 28%! Oddly, the statement made by the LEGO Group last year stated that “It’s important to note that the final price charged to shoppers is set by retailers, not the LEGO Group” which is exactly the case as only LEGO retail channels seem to be charging the higher price. So you can still grab some of the sets which have had their prices hiked for the original RRP elsewhere. Here are just a few of the more popular sets you can get at RRP or below from other UK retailers. Prices are correct at the time of publishing and may change, some retailers may also have stock in stores/online but are currently showing out of stock on either.
