How SPU Darwin Evolved Digital LEGO Offerings

Although SPU Darwin may sound like a Victorian-era procedural police drama, it’s actually an extremely important part of the LEGO Group’s history. In an all-new episode of the LEGO® Games Bits N’ Bricks podcast, journalist Brian Crecente and documentarian Ethan Vincent discovers how the Strategic Product Unit Darwin excelled the LEGO Group into the digital realms of gaming, e-commerce and so much more. Without this early 90’s project, we wouldn’t have LEGO Games, LEGO.com and other much-loved LEGO-related offerings such as apps and movies.

New episodes of the LEGO Bits N’ Bricks Podcast continue to be published every Wednesday. Find the podcast on various podcast platforms, as well as on YouTube and LEGO.com. Check out the latest episode below.
