Final LEGO VIP Coin Gets A Different Release Date

Over the past few months, the LEGO® VIP Coins have dropped on the first of each month. The final coin, which is a larger replica of the classic gold coin element, was expected to arrive on May 1st. However, a very brief update has been shared on the LAN forum which simply reads “The next coin in the set will not drop May 1. There will be an announcement as to when!” So if you were eagerly awaiting May 1st to grab the final coin, there is no need to stay up on Friday night as it won’t be there. The May the 4th and new set releases will still be taking place as announced.

  1. Why do they only tell lan? Wgee as is the point of Vip is they are just going to keep us in the dark? This is absurd. Took three days to get a response set from them with no information

    • It was shared on the LAN so we could share it. A delayed to a reward is not normally something they would announce via email. So the quickest and best way to get it out there ahead of the rumoured launch was through LEGO media. Although the VIP program has plenty of issues I’m sure you’ll agree letting people know via this method is better than not being told at all
