Final Black LEGO VIP Card Gift Revealed

The Black VIP Card has become somewhat of a sore point within the LEGO® fan community. For those unaware, when you initially purchased the UCS Millennium Falcon, you also got an exclusive Black VIP card. This unique card not only featured special artwork and the holders name, it also promised to bestow upon its holders a series of exclusive items, offers and promotions. However apart from a couple of exclusive prints, VIP point promotions and a draw prize or two, the Black VIP Card hasn’t really lived up to the expectation of those who managed to get one. Many assumed any additional promotions, the card would offer had ended, however LEGO social media channels teased another offer in reply to a comment, this was also partly confirmed on the LEGO Ambassador Network. That final Black VIP Card promotion has now been ‘revealed’ and I think it’s quite cool. Earlier today the item popped up on shop.LEGO.com and it’s an exclusive brick-built card holder, complete with a black minifigure (oddly with yellow hands) featuring the artwork show on the card and a mini version of the card on a 1×2 tile. The frame has space for the card to slot into. All Black VIP Card owners should soon get an email containing a unique code, which can be used to get this special gift from shop.LEGO.com. There is no official information regarding if this code must be used alongside another purchase or if it will ship from free, etc. Expect further details soon until then here’s the image from shop.LEGO.com before the page was taken down.

  1. I heard from an employee it’s a Gift With Purchase item. So not free in the sense that you’ll get it for nothing!
