A number of Tesco stores have a new section called ‘Going Going Gone’ which features a number of random products at a reasonably cheap price and it includes a number of the larger LEGO® Technic sets. So far sets found in various stores includes 42070: 6×6 All Terrain Tow Truck for just £100 down from £219.99 and 42069: Extreme Adventure for £75/£80 down from £139.99. You won’t find these sets in toy department with other LEGO sets, instead they will be in basket displays surround by bright yellow POS featuring the Going Going Gone branding. As the name suggests once these sets are gone at that price, it’s unlikely there will be more. Ironically in my local Tesco store, they have reduced the LEGO section from four metres to just two in order to feature this new section.
