Changes To LEGO Magazines Coverage

For over 6 years BricksFanz has provided unique coverage of the entire LEGO® magazine range. This has included providing monthly Round-up articles covering every single LEGO magazine and their cover-mounted LEGO sets along with a look at what was due the following month. BricksFanz was the first site to fully cover the LEGO magazines range. However, this coverage may now change going forward. Most of the magazines were provided by Immediate Media, who have decided to limit what they are willing to provide to just two titles. Plus the LEGO Explorer magazine has recently dropped the ability to subscribe to the magazine.

If I wanted to continue the monthly LEGO Magazines Round-up in its current form I would need to purchase the magazines, which would prove costly, especially as I no longer work and act as a carer. So the choices are to just cover the two titles still being provided, namely Star Wars and Marvel. Cover all titles but only detail the current free sets without images or details on the following month’s free gift. Or to completely drop all coverage of the LEGO Magazines.

Ideally, I’d love to keep things as they are but it doesn’t appear viable so as I decide which option to go with, I thought share the possibly of changes happening.

  1. Hey Adam

What a strange decision by the distributors.

If it were my decision I simply wouldn’t cover any of the available titles. Bricksfanz is a recognised blog and fan media, what more do they want? If you were simply some Joe posting on instagram then I’d understand. But, you’re not!
