Celebrate 35 Years Of Mario In Style

35 years ago today, on 13th September 1985, the original Super Mario Bros. launched for the Famicom in Japan. Now all these years on Mario is still delighting generations of gamers. As well as celebrating the 35th anniversary since Mario jumped on to screens, 2020 has also seen LEGO® and Nintendo join forces for a special range of LEGO sets. What better way to celebrate 35 years of gaming nostalgia with a LEGO recreation of the Nintendo Entertainment System or brings the world of Mario to life with an array of sets, which let you build and play your own Mario levels. As a gaming fan myself, Mario has been a part of my life since I first picked up a controller and even now I’m still racing around the Mushroom Kingdom, in Mario Kart Tour. Heading off on adventures with Cappy in Super Mario Odyssey and looking forward to Super Mario 3D All-stars next week. And of course, I’ve loved building all the awesome new LEGO Super Mario sets. Happy Birthday, Mario!
