It’s not until you see the weeks news is gathered in one place do you realise there has been quite a lot happening in the world of LEGO®. This week has seen the LEGO Group gain a number of notable industry nods, namely top placements in both UK Superbrand and RepTrak as well as BAFTA nominations for LEGO Worlds and a SXSW award for the LEGO House. Elsewhere, we’ve been given our first look at the upcoming new LEGO Ideas set based on Disney’s Tron Legacy and the first LEGO set based on the original Jurassic Park movie. But one of the most popular happening this week is the opening of Hamleys’ updated LEGO department. The 5th floor of the store has been completely redesigned making it a unique destination for LEGO fans heading to the capital.
