It’s been a very odd week in the world of LEGO®. Firstly a LEGO set released in 2018 won a 2021 British Toy of the Year award and then Zavvi went all 90s with a QVC-style LEGO live event on an app no one has ever heard of. Then a new GWP began with the Vintage Taxi, a set connected to the Modular Hotel, which was released a few weeks ago. It has an outrageous spend limit, one which is way over the RRP of the set it’s inspired by. Anyhoo, amongst the madness has been the revealing of a number of new sets. Firstly, the amazing new Batman-themed LEGO ART set was revealed this week and it will be joined by an Elvis one, but it’s unclear where the images of that set have come from. We’ve also had better looks at new LEGO City, Speed Champions, DOTS, NINJAGO and Creator 3-in-1 sets. The LEGO brick also celebrated its 64th birthday so you can catch up on all this and more below.
