Today has been filled with brick-based celebrations has LEGO® fans across the globe have been marking the 60th anniversary of the LEGO brick. In America, a giant LEGO brick has appeared in Time Square, in the UK one of the first toy shops to stock LEGO was given a brick-based makeover and in the home of LEGO, a selection of clocks showing the exact time the patent certificate was dated, were put on display in the LEGO House. For those who couldn’t make it to these events, that have been holding their own celebrations online, by sharing builds, memories and stories inspired by the LEGO brick. The exact moment may have passed but celebrations will continue until then you can catch up on some of the LEGO happenings in the week gone by.
