BricksFanz Weekly Recap Feb 12th – 18th

It’s been a busy couple of days thanks to all the information flowing from New York Toy Fair, although we weren’t expecting to see many of the sets due later in the year, it still provided some nice surprises. Firstly LEGO® officially unveiled the return of the Harry Potter theme, by showing of one of the first sets, the Great Hall. Instead of being a rehash of past sets, minifigures have been completely redesigned and loads of new elements are being introduced. The first official look at the huge new Hulkbuster set were also unveiled. This UCS-type set brings a larger display version of Stark’s biggest set of Iron Man armour to the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes range and is released in just over 2 weeks time! But the best announcement had to be the first official look at the next series of LEGO Minifigures, which celebrate the 40th anniversary since the Minifigure was first introduced. It’s one of the best series yet and marks a return to the non-licensed characters. Catch up on the Toy Fair news and all the other LEGO happenings below.
