BricksFanz Weekly Recap April 12th – 18th

It’s not been the best week for LEGO fandom. Although we’ve been treated to a look at the upcoming range of 20th Anniversary LEGO Harry Potter sets, the focus has unfortunately been on the shambolic release of the Ulyssess VIP set. After being previously delayed, the set finally arrived on the VIP Reward Centre this week, but the mass of people trying to redeem their points to get the set caused the website to buckle. This coupled with an extremely low amount of stock has caused plenty of anger. The LEGO Group have already said they know they have done wrong and will try better in the future. Whilst I understand people frustrations I wouldn’t go as far as to close your VIP account, after all, there are many sets only available directly from LEGO.com and you might as well get the free points to use for money-off vouchers. Anyhoo there has been plenty of other things happening, all of which you can catch up with below and the LEGO Looney Tunes Minifigure Review has also been updated to include Wile E. Coyote.
