Best LEGO Batman Sets To Build On Batman Day

It’s Batman Day, a time to celebrate the world’s greatest detective, and the perfect time to see what bat-themed LEGO® sets are currently available. From DUPLO to 18+ the dark knight has appeared in many LEGO forms. There are a number of great sets available featuring Batman and his super-friends and fiendish foe. To celebrate Batman Day, it’s time to take a little look at some of the sets currently available. Who knows what other bat delights are on the way.

76139: 1989 Batmobile

Quite possibly the ultimate LEGO Batman set and one of the first to be directly based on the cult 1989 classic Batman movie from Tim Burton. The set was a precursor for the recently introduced 18+ range and recreates the best on-screen Batmobile as a great display piece.

10919: DUPLO Batcave

Even younger LEGO fans can step into the cowl of the Batman and he hasn’t looked cuter in DUPLO form. Both Batman and The Joker have been transformed into DUPLO figures along with the boy wonder Robin. It may not be a 3300 plus piece but the DUPLO Batmobile is still cool.

76119: Batmobile Pursuit of The Joker

If the 1989 Batmobile is a little out of your price range, then this is the next best thing. Its design is similar to the Batmobile featured in the highly acclaimed animated TV series. It also has some fun play features including flip-out stud shooters and a turning thruster flame.

40386: Brick Sketches Batman

Introduced earlier this year, the first of the LEGO Brick Sketches sets features Batman as a buildable piece of art. The unique style of the Brick Sketches pairs well with the comic book art style from Batman early days. You can also pair Batman with a similar Joker set.

76138: Batman and The Joker Escape

This set will soon be retired and is also part of the 4+ range, which means it’s full of some great fully printed pieces. The best of which is the entrance to Arkham Asylum. It may not be a fantastic or complex build but it has great parts and Minifigures. Certainly worth grabbing before it’s gone for good.
