Australia Set To Get A New Dedicated LEGO Store

LEGO® fans in Sydney will soon be able to enjoy the delights of LEGO Stores, as the country’s latest official dedicated LEGO store is set to open in the Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney later this month. The certified LEGO store is being opened in partnership with Alceon, who have the license to operate LEGO certified stores in both Australia and New Zealand. This is the first LEGO store to open in a traditional retail environment. Although not directly run by the LEGO Group, this new two storey store will have a number of features you’d find in Brand Stores. These include a Pick-a-brick wall and Minifigure building station, plus big builds of famous Australian landmarks. These includes a large wall-mounted Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge mosaic built from LEGO bricks. The store will also feature unique new LEGO experiences such as a dedicated children’s parties area called The Brick Cave and custom LEGO brick engraving service for personalisation. The Sydney LEGO Store will open on March 21st and it will be the first of a number of new LEGO Certified Stores coming to Australia and New Zealand in 2019 and beyond.
