A Look At LEGO…. Loos

We often get so bogged down with covering all the latest LEGO® happenings, there isn’t much time for in-depth, hard hitting features. So it’s a relief to get a few days holiday and be flushed with enough time to take A Look At LEGO…. Loos. Yes those porcelain thrones have been making cheeky appearances in various LEGO sets more and more just lately. Creating Minifigure scale toilets is no mean feat, and for some reason, finding one in a set is always a treat. You know what they say – simple things. I’m not yanking your chain, I really am about to take A Look At LEGO…. Loos.

70618: Destiny’s Bounty

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie may not have been exactly what fans hoped for, but it did give us some pretty impressive sets. One such set was the Destiny’s Bounty. Master Wu’s floating ninja training base had everything the Masters of Spinjitzu would need to hone their ninja skills. That included a wood panelled bathroom complete with a toilet, who knew a 1×1 round brick could make such a convincing loo roll.

10267: Gingerbread House

Everybody poops, that includes Gingerbread folk it would seem. This years festive Creator Expert set is a delicious looking gingerbread house, with all the mod cons. Although I’m not too sure about having the toilet so close to the bathtub.

70423: Paranormal Interceptor Bus 3000

The Hidden Side can manifest itself in the most unusual places, that includes a roadside port-a-loo. Once the gloomed, the portable toilet becomes a gruesome poop flinging monsters. They always say you use a port-a-loo at your own peril, and that’s certainly the case when in Newbury.

40346: LEGOLAND

Even a fun day out can sneak in a cheeky loo break. The LEGOLAND exclusive set based on the world famous theme parks, features a nice modern looking loo. The Minifigure visitor looks extremely happy to find a toilet, although I’ve not sure he’ll be so jolly once he realises there is no door.

75827: Ghostbuster Firehouse Headquarters

In the world of the Ghostbusters, bustin’ makes you feel good. When in reality if you’re bustin’ for the loo, it’s far from a nice feeling. Thankfully the Firehouse HQ of New York’s foremost paranormal experts, comes complete with a loo. Although you may find the seat a little slimy.

75936: Jurassic World T. rex Rampage

One of the most iconic scenes in the original Jurassic Park movie, saw lawyer Donald Gannaro become a tasty treat for a T. rex. With the escaped dinosaur on the loose, Gannaro abandons the kids, in favour for a quick trip to the loo. When you gotta go, you gotta go. This iconic moment is immortalized in the huge Jurassic Park set featuring a brick-built Rexy and park gates.

10218: Pet Shop

Some of the most detailed LEGO sets are the popular, annually released Creator Expert modular buildings. Once such set is the Pet Shop. Next door to the shop is a nice little city apartment, which has a nice little downstairs loo.

10246: Detective Office

Another modular set to have a toilet is the Detective Office. Above Al’s Barbershop, is a neat little loo. What’s unique about this one is that it’s a complete enclosed cubicle. The folks over at LEGO LEGOLAND should take note.
