A LEGO John Lewis Christmas

With something set to emerge from under the bed any time now, we thought we’d get into the festive spirit by taking a look back at the LEGO dioramas built by Bright Bricks for last year’s John Lewis Christmas campaign. These builds celebrated the iconic John Lewis Christmas adverts, which have become a staple of Christmas for the last few years. Commercials from 2012 through to 2016 were each recreated using LEGO elements and displayed in the John Lewis Oxford Street store.

These included Buster the Boxer, The Man on the Moon, Monty the Penguin, The Bear & The Hear and The Snowman’s Journey. Over 9,400 LEGO bricks were used in total to complete the builds.

2016: Buster the Boxer – Bricks: 1,200 Build Time: 23 hours

2015: Man on the Moon – Bricks: 1,700 Build Time: 33 hours

2014: Monty the Penguin – Bricks: 2,300 Build Time: 22 hours

2013: The Bear & The Hare – Bricks: 2,400 Build Time: 20 hours

2012: The Journey – Bricks: 1,800 Build Time: 18 hours
