Leicester Square Store Kicks Off Festive Season

Last night ‘celebs’ and a small handful of LEGO® fans descended upon the Leicester Square store to kick off Christmas. The event also helped launch a completion to win a private party at the Leicester Square store. During the launch event, some of those in attendance were gifted LEGO goodies. There was also the opportunity to build a mini Cataclaws and create a minifigure. You can learn how to enter the completion here. Thanks to LEGO UK for inviting BricksFanz to the event.

LEGO Brickmas Launch

Celebrate a Bricktastic Christmas with LEGO®! Celebrities and their families attend the LEGO® Group’s festive launch event, hosted by the NEW holiday mascot Cataclaws, at the LEGO Store Leicester Square.

The LEGO Group has kicked off the festive season with a party hosted by Cataclaws, who was the star of the show, pictured alongside Vogue Williams, Daisy Lowe and more.

LEGO super fan and comedian Rob Beckett also attended, having teamed up with the LEGO Group earlier today to announce the first ever LEGO Brickmas Party. This nationwide competition gives fans the chance to win a private Christmas Party at one of three LEGO stores across the UK. To enter, fans can visit LEGO.com/party, choose their closest participating LEGO store, and fill out their contact details for a chance to win.

Other guests who got into the festive spirit at the LEGO Store event included Daisy Lowe, Ferne McCann, Harry Clark and more.

Attendees and their loved ones had the opportunity to make their very own LEGO Minifigures, whilst listening to Christmas tunes sung by London pop-choir, Some Voices.

Guests also took part in the LEGO Group’s annual Build to Give initiative – where LEGO fans from anywhere in the world can build a heart from LEGO bricks and upload it to social media with the hashtag #BuildtoGive. For each creation shared, the LEGO Group will donate a LEGO set to a child in need through its charity partners.

A trip to the LEGO store is a must-do family festive outing this holiday season. Beyond having something for every gift-giving need and interest, along with expert guidance from Brick Specialists, the stores enable families and LEGO fans to create unforgettable memories through hands-on play opportunities. Customers can also visit the LEGO Storytelling Zone inside the LEGO Leicester Square Store, where they can expect a series of fun and exciting

Christmas activities including:

  • A Letter Hunt for kids and families
  • A bespoke LEGO passport stamp – which is exclusive to the LEGO Storytelling Zone
  • Minifigure Me scanners for guests to find out which Minifigure they are!
  • A picture moment with a LEGO brick-built Santa!
